Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Et'al MDM, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using this service.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to access and use Et'al MDM for managing mobile device fleets in accordance with your subscription plan. This license does not include:

  • Reverse engineering or decompiling the software
  • Reselling access without an MSP or reseller agreement
  • Using the platform for unlawful device management
  • Removing any copyright or proprietary notations
  • Transferring your account credentials to another person or entity

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account, including all device management commands issued through the platform.

4. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime for our cloud-hosted service, but we do not guarantee that the service will be available at all times. We may suspend or terminate access for maintenance, updates, or other reasons. For self-hosted deployments, uptime is the responsibility of the deploying organization.

5. Device Management

You acknowledge that Et'al MDM provides tools to remotely manage, lock, wipe, and configure enrolled devices. You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have legal authority to manage all enrolled devices and that your use complies with applicable laws and regulations.

6. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data stored in Et'al MDM, including device information, policies, command history, and audit logs. For cloud-hosted deployments, we act as a data processor on your behalf. For self-hosted deployments, all data remains on your infrastructure.

7. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Use the service to manage devices without proper authority
  • Issue remote wipe or lock commands on devices you do not own or manage
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other tenants' data
  • Interfere with the proper working of the service
  • Upload viruses or malicious code
  • Use the platform to violate any applicable law

8. Limitation of Liability

Et'al Software Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the service, including but not limited to data loss from device wipe commands or policy misconfigurations.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, device management policies will be removed and your data will be retained for 30 days.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new terms on this page.
